Continue:
To continue on the same track you were previously racing on, press
A and Start simultaneously.

Stage select:
To choose any level, select your car and then on the demo screen 
press the B button to increase the tachometer by two lights.
Each time you press the button the level selected increases by one.
Once you've decided on your course, hold Up and Right and press A
and Start.
